glucose is an organic compound. it is also an important biomolecule.

anything with long chains of C-H and occasionally oxygens are organic compounds. organic compounds are mostly made up of carbon and sometimes hydrogen and oxygen.

inorganic compounds include the elements in the periodic table such as HCl, CuSO4, the likes.

glucose is organic. It is the basic sugar with formula C6H12O6, and can has the formula (if I remember right) of
CH2OH-CO-CHOH-CHOH-CHOH-CH2OH
