Lunopolis
It combines the Latin word for moon (luna) and the Greek suffix for city (-opolis).
It'd be great.
(As a side note, in Ancient Egypt there was a Heliopolis (Greek for Sun City)).

Coropia?
Spudopia?
We had an assignment like that once and the group I was in basically just put letters in a hat, pulled out five or six (or seven or eight, but those didn't work out very long because it was hard to get the vowels), and put them together to make the name of our society.

You could use the latin for moon
luna
and add something.
Or use the cheese (that the moon is made of) idea.
