Well some people are just like that by nature and let others control them , i dont mean to be mean but if i had a fiance that still let his ex control him i would be asking him why-as only he would really know-and if it didnt stop i would get the hell out of dodge thats for sure!

You CHOSE to become involved with a man who has "baggage". That "baggage" will be there for the rest of your lives IF he plans on being involved in his child's life. If your fiance WANTS to be controled by his ex that is HIS choice. If you don't like HIS choices in life them maybe YOU are in the wrong relationship for you. But the problem you have isn't with the ex wife, or the child...the problem you have is with your fiance.

I think maybe it would be because, he fears losing or having her turn her child against him. He shouldn't have to be treated like crap, but the love a child is very important.

I would like to ask YOU why do YOU allow her to treat you like crap? You can choose to leave. Your fiancé's priorities may be different from yours, and it can be a problem.
