They do work... he just does not read the directions carefully. If there were a Mrs. Wylie E. Coyote.... then they would have caught that darn roadrunner within the first episode!

I think some of the stuff does work, Wile E. just uses them incorrectly. And, he does throw good money after bad, as my folks would say. He is also very optimistic. One of these days, he will catch the Road Runner. I wonder what he will do then??
He may be so surprised, he'll let him go!

Most consumers are. Consider cigarette smokers - the packs say right on them that they'll give you cancer and/or kill you, but people just keep on buying them.
