They say the soldiers are fighting for an army that represents a country that accepts homosexuality.

To be fair, I know that this group is a few steps worse than your average neo-con. Even neo-cons would hurt these guys given the chance.

Those trying to say these are liberals, are ignoring their anti-homosexual slant for their evil deed.
Which party consistently speaks ill of homosexuals? Liberals??? Come on...

They are doing that in hopes that someone will fight back and end up in a lawsuit. They are using the guise of religion to make money.
I don't know if this is exactly the group you are talking about, but there is a church in Kansas that goes around picketing all sorts of funerals. The pastor of the church comes from a family of lawyers. See the connection in this case?
It is a shame that this group would use religion to make excuse for their hatred and greed.

By the way, are you some kind of democrat shill? You have asked nearly a thousand questions and seem to have around fifty open at a time.
If I was the suspicious type I would suspect you are actually an activist propaganda group not a single person.

The Westboro Baptist Church is not a neo-conservative organization in the least. They are Extremist wackos. They have a severly distorted view which they have taken to an extreme level. God will judge them accordingly, soon I hope.
Also, I love how it is Neo-Con all the time except when you wish to link them to a ridiculous organization. Your ignorance of a neo-con and the neo conservative movement astound me

I wouldn't say its all conservatives- but some do that and its sick.
I believe america is a country where straights, gays, and bisexuals can live together
and whites, blacks, browns, yellows, and if we ever find someone with naturally blue skin they can live with us too.
I also think different religions can live together here and the law will protect them all so they can practice without infringing on one another.
and I think if people don't like that idea of freedom, harmoney, unity, and equality they can leave. I'm not saying this in a mean way- if I went somewhere and I disagreed with their key beliefss I'd say 'this isn't for me, have a nice day'
and leave.

I can promise that they will not interfere at any soldier's funeral I am close to. It doesn't matter if I know the soldier, sailor, marine, airman, or coastie. They are a group of radicals from one church organization that seem to have a cult mentality. And I am Christian, a soldier, and not the biggest gay supporter in this country based on my religious beliefs. But I also believe in dignity and respect.

These people are are the Conservative equivalent of a Muslim extremest. They think that hurting innocent people in the name of God is a good thing. They twist the word of God to justify their own ideals. I don't see how they think America accepts homosexuals, more than half of the states now have bans against same sex marriage.

I don't think it's fair to generialize people in that manner. The story claims that Phelps and his family have been targeting the funerals. It's one man spreading his misguided agenda.
The Bible also says "love thy neighbor as thyself" It's wrong and God-forbid I had a family member or attended a funeral for someone who was killed because they joined the military to serve their country and this guy showed up, I'd probably be taken in for assult that day. You can't disrespect our soldiers that way. I'm surprised this guy hasn't gotten a beatdown yet.

"in the adventure that they attended my sons funeral, they could quickly be attending their own funeral." it really is precisely what they favor you to do: get all emotional and do something stupid like this. sure, what they do is stupid also, yet they do it for the publicity. And the better violent the individuals attending the funeral get in the course of them, the better publicity they get. this isn't even including the lawsuit they could record antagonistic to you for assaulting them. i comprehend it may be not problem-free to do, in spite of the indisputable fact that the most proper element should be to easily ignore about them. virtually everybody in this us of a knows that they seem to be a set of loonies and characteristic no credibility. They make themselves seem worse in case you do not do something about it.

Both extremes of any political party, right or left tend to be a**holes. You know as well as I know they do not represent the majority of conservatives. Just as the liberals that destroy new housing in the name of "environmentalism" do not represent the vast majority of liberals.
Those neocons blow dude.
