Free speech?

Knee jerk reactionaries who can't see the speck in their own eyes?

PC sensibilities?

Al Sharpton /Jesse Jackson and company?

Don Imus when he gets a more lucrative contract offer on satelite radio based on a upswing in his name recognition as a result of the flap down the road after a unpaid vacation?

News services who see a spike in ratings by unrelenting coverage of this "important" new event?

The "victims" of his insult who will enjoy a outpouring of sympathy and attention, along with all the probable $tory and TV deal$ foisted on them?

Too bad we can't demand some other firings over insulting behavior, starting with the Executive branch of the White House.

So...Who wins here with the Imus "situation"?

I'm sure both Sharpton & Jackson will come out winners. They'll shake down CBS & MSNBC for tons of money. They always do.

Everyone wins. This is not the old days you just can't say anything you want about anyone you want and expect for nothing to happen. The only way to atleast mask racism is to punish those who say racist things. Kramer from seinfeld should be fired too for saying the n word in a comedy club. His only defense was I don't know what I was thinking I made a fool of myself. That's bs he needs to be fired then maybe he'll start thinking and the rest of the undercover racist will follow suit. Imus was dead wrong and got what he deserved. If a black person got on t.v. or wherever and said a racist comment about a white person I would expect the same thing to happen. But here this there is nothing, absolutely nothing that a black person can call a white person that would be > or = to being called a ******.

The big question is who is the biggest loser. The racist Sharpton and Jackson again use the media to have their way. It is a real shame that losers like Sharpton and Jackson get to claim victory of another white victim. Where is the indignation over Jackson's theft of funds from the Rainbow Coalition or Sharpton's part in the fabricated Brawly story. Not to mention Both of them convicting the Duke guys without having anything to go on. Naturally Blacks can do whatever they want and get a pass while any white that makes a mistake is put on the cross. It really disgust me how twisted this country is becoming.

Don Imus got fired because he did something that his boss didn't like. It was costing them money and guests who did not want to be associated with a company that would have people saying the kinds of things that Imus was saying. As a black person, I don't hate Imus. I do think that he should have thought before he used such comments about a specific group of women. He has no one to blame but himself.

Imus does if he can establish that CBS is a hostile workplace and cites their (Sharpton, Faraquad, et al) broadcasts of racial insults for several years running now and nothing was ever done, not even radio silence in their cases. I'd like him to get a top lawyer to sue the crap out of the broadcast giant and set an example and a precedent for cowardly whites everywhere who've suffered similar unjust dismissals.

Hopefully Imus will in the long run!

Hope he gets a better job and make the station wish they had not fired him and buckled under the pressure of all the naacp and others like Al and Jesse.

Who wins? This is another worthless victory for stupid liberals. I guess it's also a victory for "political correctness."

I'm wondering why 25,000 rappers haven't been fired or banned for singing about this subject in every damn song.

This is the fairy tale that liberals and champions of BS like Sharpton perpetuate. Anyone can say anything they want about a white male like Imus or the people who run our country. But it's against the rules to comment on anyone black. You should know this!!!

The KKK are probably the biggest winners.

Don was raising money for the underpriveleged (many of whom are black) when he was fired. I'm sure the KKK will be having a good laugh about this.

Still, Al Sharpton/Jesse Jackson & the rest of the fascist left have more than enough money to compensate these poor folk so I'm sure they won't lose too much sleep over it....

Lets see they will shake down NBC and CBS, I have a great idea lets all of us turn them two channels off and start watching the cartoon channel at least it makes more sense, ultimately the general public controls TV stations maybe we can get the CEO of both stations fired by not watching ether one, oh well I guess I will wake up in a few minutes and quit dreaming.

ME, I win, I can't stand Imus, Sharpton, Jackson or Limpdick, Hannity or Colmes, Orielly or Rivera. They are all blowhards who do nothing but contribute to the hate in Ameica
