This may sound stilly, but I'm being bullied by my younger brother. I'm talking about verbal abuse. He calls me retarted, gay, lez, fat, ****-talker, and a ******. I'm none of those, and I know that, but I don't know why he does it anyway. I don't do anything to him. I try to be nice. I know he's different than me, so I respect that and keep my comments to myself. He picks on me probably because I'm an easy target. I don't fight or say anything rude back. I just sit there and try to ignore his bad behavior...but this has gotten too far. It's been going on for years, and I'm so fed up with his attitude. I want to stick up for myself and end his unreasonable swearing twards me! ...Although, I don't know how. I don't want to "calmly talk it out" because he's not that type of kid. Hes got some major problems and won't listen to me. My mom doesn't even listen to him. She doesn't do ANYTHING to make him stop swearing. Can anybody help me?

Tell him "I love you bro, but not when your acting like this" Keep saying that and do what you can to put some distance up... it well give him the feeling and the choose of ether I keep actting like a dumb butt and push my sister away, or I start acting different and she'll actual acknolodge my esistence. Understand you have something he wants and he'll do what he can to get it, your attention. Its up to you to teach him how to act to get the right attention. You don't have to calmy talk it out ether just tell him that and leave the room, the house, or just do something total away from him that well allow you to not show him any attention. Because he knows this stuff well get you talking and relating with him, he well keep doing it, its a survival technique believe it or not for his social ego, we need attention weather good or bad. And as long as you don't give him the simple option I state above he'll go with what he knows.....
