Good day, Imagine a hoist hanged on a metal beam, how do you move it easily, no motor, across 20 feet on a metal beam when it has aready a load of 2000 pounds
oil, bearings, wheels ? thanks

Use an I-beam trolley.

two hoists about 5 feet a part at a time, or lay it on the ground and move the hoiste 5 feet then pick it back up carefully, It will drag across the ground unless you have a cart below it. That's how we did it to get it from front to back of our barn when the tractor went down.

find a cable wench and attach it to load and secure to something solid and wench away blockand tackle would work to but why the extra work.

Place pieces of pipe under the object & roll it.
