Once in power - control of the House, Senate and Presidency they slacked on handling Iraq and Afghanistan. Over 6 years of control by the Republican party and things are still a mess in Iraq and Afghanistan and they're indecisive about what to do.

Of course, now they're blaming the Democrats for things, but the Democrats only gained a majority in January 2007. That's only 4 months ago. Why couldn't the Republicans get the job done given 6+ years?

It's very funny how Republicans like blaming other people for their follies. It's called denial.
