Yes and the most prevalent sign that I see is the trend toward self-centered ideals that put ones self ahead of others and even family members.
Morals, values, patriotism and work ethic have all changed drastically. We are faced with the most challenging decisions ever and we are divided on some very fundamental issues. How's that for weird?

Wars and rumors of wars. You don't have to be a very religious person to find it strangely coincidental that the center of the worlds division is one small city in the middle east.
