I need some advice from another band geek on this. There's a guy in the pit of our musical (I'm in the cast) and it seems that they always travel in packs. How does one go about getting a band geek to notice her?

You can start by not labeling people. He might not like being called a band geek.

well i played trumpet in school for awhile and i wasn't a band geek but anyway just ask him if he'd play you a song sometime that he may have wrote himself or if he knows any good songs he could play for you sometime all alone with just you 2

dude band geeks are ppl too, do the same thing you would do to get any other guy

What instrument does he play? Ask him to show you how to play/ask to listen/ ask about the musical. Music is what they are into right?
Or just ask him out in general, why not?
