Contrary to popular belief, the pill does not always cause you to gain weight. Often times, it is the change in hormones that causes a change in appetite, and THAT causes the weight gain. One of my sisters gained weight on the pill. One gained weight when she went off the pill. I lost weight when I went on it. It all depends on which pill you take and how your body reacts. I take Aviane, and I'm very happy with it.

Birth control does not necessarily make your boobs big. Nothing can really do that. Don't worry about breast size. It's pretty much irrelevant despite what the media and some guys will tell you. Trust me: when I go out with my friends, one friend in particular gets hit on all the time. She's completely flat chested, I'm a DDD.

There is no guarantee that you won't have your period. It may be shorter and lighter, you may not have it at all. It just depends on your body. But you should be prepared to always have your period. The only way to absolutely guarantee that you won't have a period is to get pregnant or go through menopause.

I recommend doing a lot of reading, researching, and talking to your doctor before you go on the pill.

All birth control pills have the potential to cause weight gain which is actually mostly water. The average weight gain is about 5-10 pounds. Breast tenderness is common with being on the pill because of the hormones in it.

As for a pill that doesn't make you have your period the only one that could possibly do that is something that has progesterone in it only, or taking one of the other brand of birth control pills that is out there where you skip the placebo pills (these are the sguar pills).

I would recommend discussing all potential options with your dr to see which option would be the safest for you.
