i hit a curb the other day and got stuck on it to get off it i spun and think i tore out my axle or broke a tie rod or something. Every time i accelerate my cars is grinding/popping and the steering wheel and car starts shaking. ill make a turn and it sounds like i hit rumble strips on the road. what would cause this to happen did i bust an axle or bend something??

It shure sounds like the CV joint(s)!! Its easyer to replace the half shaft than rebuild the CV joint!!! Good Luck.

It sounds like a CV joint is bad, it would better and cheaper to replace the complete axle assembly.

Complete axle assemblies can cost between $65.00 to &165.00 + labor.

Undoubtedly you've bent or broke something. Raise the vehicle & place on jack stands. Spin the tire & see if it's still running true. Remove the tire & thoroughly inspect the area as well as the frame/unibody.

If it's front wheel drive you may have damaged a CV Joint.
