i would rather be deaf, cause if i was blind i would never be able to see how beauiful my children are and how beauiful everything else is!

I suppose it would have to be deaf .i`m deaf in one ear because of an accident and i think a lot of people who answered deaf don`t really understand that going deaf isn`t just a matter of not being able to hear anything .I had to have Physio to learn me how to walk again because of it that might sound crazy ,but its not ,.Your balance is to do with your hearing and if your hearing goes your falling about like The town drunk for weeks i couldn`t bend down to pick something up without falling flat on my face .Plus i can hear this loud buzzing noise inside me head all the time.

It hard
if your deaf you can still see colour
They have trouble with reading as they can't hear
You can watch t.v but unless subtitles you don't know what going on. And since they are not good reads they average grade 5
Blind people read quite well
Have more idea of what going on in t.v as they can hear
Can't see danger coming
Both can enjoy playing sport
I would rather be born blind then deaf
But I would rather loss my hearing rather then sight
Adjusting is hard if you are blind.
Both can have assistant dogs

I am partially deaf anyway and although it was hard to come to terms with, I would much rather be deaf than blind.
Im so grateful for my eyesight

I think I would rather be blind because, well I already know signing and also you can still feel vibrations. Also if you were deaf you would need less aid (ie. driving, walking, daily life) then if you were blind.

I would rather be deaf. Being blind would be a far worse disability.

well i'd rather be deaf cause then i could see what the others were saying and still be able to enjoy the beauty of life and everything that you can see

Obviously i would hate to be either but if i HAD to choose i would rather be deaf, losing my sight would be the worst thing, it would be awful!

Deaf cause too many beautiful things to look at :) also I wouldn't be able to see these questions or answer them lol
