I have heard Eminem use worse terms for women and he has even dropped the N Bomb a couple of times. Yet, "some"(as in not all) embraced him.. and no one spoke out. Why is that? Clearly Don Imus was just making a comment in conjunction with pop-culture. It's that simple. If anyone see this as a big deal you are either blinded by the media hail storm, brainwashed like every other american, or you are a cry baby *****. OH BOO WHOOO he called me names. Really everyone needs to grow up, lighten up, and grow some balls. Why focus attention on BS issues like this, when our economy, health care systems, are out of control. Why hasn't someone stood up against the injustice of our own government? Black people you only seperate yourselves further. We need to embrace our nation as one of many colors and stop making it a black, white world. This Don Imus stuff is retarded.

Stereotypes are a fraction of the truth Baron.
Yet, stereotypes can not speak full truth for the whole. For the most part it's common human trait. The only time people should b*tch and moan about it, is when the stereotype includes violence or harm to the well being of others. Our nation is full of cry babies. Remember the old saying, "Sticks and Stones"? Why whine about issues that really don't effect the well being of our people and let real issues go unresolved.

I could not agree with you more
He should have been suspended but not fired. I am a black and I can tell you this much. I am absolutely digusted with everyone that jumped on the "fire Imus" band wagon. CBS & NBC groveled like cowards especially to people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, two men who in their past called white people names, like cracker and uncle hymie. Remember the Hymie town comment? You would have thought that they would realized, " judge not lest ye be judged"
Look at what THEY contributed to just last year in Durham, NC when THEY called the innocent WHITE boys names in their rush to keep themselves relevant, and now they have been paraded around as moral compasses. Have they been given the boot from their shows yet for the racial acrimony they helped to inflame in Durham? Not one of them spoke out against the New Black Panther Party after their members threatened these guys' lives in court. I cannot express just how disgusted I am.
CBS & NBC did not stand up for Imus. Granted his comments were hurtful but guess what, some of these same advertisers who pulled their ads from his show also continue to advertise on the Rush Limbaugh show yet they did not leave the show after what he said about MIchael J Fox and his incurable disease. Why didn't they ask them if they had advertised on the Trya Banks show where SHE herself has described herself as nappy haired. Rappers who used the same nappy haired and ho descriptions in the songs, do they disavow the radio stations that play those songs?. CBS Records which helps to produce and market these same songs of tripe. Huh!?!. This is why Imus was hired. He is a "shock" jock. I could understand if he had cursed or said the "n" or the "b" words-but he didn't. He used descriptors used by black people amongst themselves but he supposedly now committed a crime. I can't tell you the amount of times I have heard black people call out, " Hey, what's up my *****?" or " Look at that nappy headed bit*h", yet there they are acting morally outraged. Give me a break.

Yes there are, and there are the ones folks worried approximately the ones too. I hate the Springer exhibit, however Jerry Springer certainly not stated this approximately someone. I may also begrudgingly say that Imus isn't racist, however he stated anything that was once racist and sexist and simply simple hurtful. The guy will have to had been watching on the sport, now not targeting what he felt have been the fast comings of the appears of the Rutgers ladies. This is a average slam at black ladies. The identical factor happened while Venus and Serena Williams received their first tennis fits. This is why many black individuals felt the desire, and different form hearted individuals as good, to talk. It is facet of a better drawback as good...simply as I stated earlier than...this is a average SEXIST factor to pass judgement on ladies for appears most effective...only a few have advanced from this, guys and ladies... In a ideal international, in which I had plenty extra manage over what was once on tv, I might eliminate ALL degrading matters from TV, adding while Tiffany Pollard nicknamed a man "White Boy". But this isn't the case...those matters are attacked as they arrive... While the ones speak indicates and pass judgement on indicates make deficient illustration for deficient blacks, deficient whites, individuals with severe disorders, and America quite often (the ones indicates are proven world wide), they have got now not, YET, specially known as any racial institution or ladies out. Imus' exhibit did.

I agree 100%... I mean, come on! People are dying in a war and all you hear when you turn on the news is people complaining about a stupid little comment.

Isn't it a stereotype to imply that one group ought to behave better than another?
