The same thing I think of yesterdays drivers, "Why were they issued licenses?''
I think there aught to be a segment on the news that points out the crap people pull. Like...If you're not merging get out of the slow lane. Or if you have to use the slow lane don't get on the highway. Then they can do... Put down the phone and drive. After that I recommend...Tailgating is only good for football games. Stuff like that.
I think people have been driving for so long they don't think much of it but just because they have the opportunity, they don't have the right to put everyone in jeopardy.

Mostly rude and ignorant. I've driven over 2 million miles in semis, and the drivers out there now are very inconsiderate. Even several of the truck drivers are this way. I seldom see the lights for signaling other drivers that it's safe to move over. A great big difference in now, and when I first started driving semis.

The people above me are SO correct!!! Drivers now-a-days are too reckless. They drive with an attitude that should be done away with. Why are there so many crazy people on the road now? Is it because they think they own the road? Is it because they find the frustration of others funny? Or is it because they're just so darn stupid!!! Enough with the pulling up too far and the cutting off stuff. Too much madness.

they should be re-tested for licensing every 3-5 years.
I swear, I have no idea how some people got their license in the first place.
If you have driving skills, re-taking the test shouldn't be a problem at all. I forsee the only people complaining about it are people who know they really can't drive.
Plus, that eliminates agism against elderly drivers. Instead of having an age where one must be retested, just re-test everyone. All-inclusive , all-fair.
Lastly, no matter how skilled you think you are, driving and talking on the cell phone should remain two separate activities.

They are stupid, cell phone talking morons that need to be ticketed and made to use a bicycle for a year. Gosh, I feel so much better.
Two days ago, I actually got the finger and an earful of hateful curses because I PULLED OVER to talk on my phone. I went to the side of the road, normal size road, not a dirt one laner, and this woman drove by me honking and saluting me and HER DAUGHTER cursed me out! The driver was ....on her cell phone!

They don't give themselves long enough to get to there destination and get fustrated and angry when someone or something holds them up , so todays drivers are more impatient and driving is far more stressful:)

I think they are too pre-occupied these days. I see far too many on cell phones, doing paperwork, picking their nose or just not paying attention. People forget when you get behind the wheel of a vehicle it's a new experience each time...SO GET OFF THE PHONE!!!!
