Edwin Jarvis V.S. Alfred Pennyworth?

Question

During some cosmic event, Iron Man and Batman end up fighting and knocking each other out, making a mess. When both butlers show up to clean up their mess, they see both their fallen masters. Using only the cleaning implements at their disposal, they rush into battle.

Who will win?

DANG, but this is a GOOD QUESTION…! So much better than “Who’s tougher A or B?” Interesting to have someone other than heroes and their sidekicks fighting.

Well, let’s see. Jarvis I don’t know so much about. I remember that Alfred supposedly fought during WWII (and had a daughter by DC’s Mlle. Marie!)

Then, after Crisis, and they had to update everybody and everything, they said that Alfred had been a battlefield medic in Vietnam, which accounted for his ability to remove the occasional slug that Batman might catch during a night on the town.

So, I’m going to say Alfred, based on his known combat abilities. I think Jarvis is very much a stay-at-home non-action type.

I like Alfred as a character far better-- mostly because I'm a Batman fan. But also because there have been some stories in which Alfred has done some very cool things for Bats. ...Unfortunately, Jarvis would "mop the floor" with Alfred. Jarvis was a former professional boxer, so he knows how to fight. While Alfred is just a good guy who is extraordinarily loyal to Batman/Bruce Wayne.
