I totally unerstand.
I'm 35 and my teenage son is the same.
I kicked him out of my car the other day and made him stand outside whilst I finished listening to a song I liked.
I got fed up with him moaning about 'this old rubbish'....cheeky git.
They don't understand what REAL music is ...do they lol?

The other day at work I was talking about the A-Team and Mr. T when this young woman looks at me and asks, "Who's Mr. T?" She'd not heard of the A-Team. It made me feel old, but only for a moment, then I realized that she must be culturally illiterate.

When you go to Panama City Beach with your friend over Spring Break and all you can think about is how tired you are. And also when some guy comes over to flirt and his buddies all laugh because you're probably about 10 years older than he is.

It's a drag getting older, but I'm so glad I'm past the drunken-idiot-stage. I am wiser & I know better.

I have been teaching in elementary school for 13 years. Whenever a former student comes back to see me and they are 6'3" tall, have boobs bigger than mine, are talking about college, and have deep voices and mustaches...well then I feel pretty darn old. I remember when they were "this big". It's a strange sort of time warp for me.

When my nephew asked what a record player was and how did it work.

When my niece, who is 7, asks if I was born in Victorian Times - I think thats really pushing it.

I have only just gone 38 yrs old today.

:-)))

When I look at a young couple of 24 and 25 getting ready to get married and I think "wait, what's the rush, your so young". Also when I look our soldiers and realise they were in grade school when I served.
