As far as I know, if you are under 18 you could go to any women's clinic (they do free testing for minors with confidentiality). If you're over 18, you'll have to pay to have a fertility test. I believe that women's clinics are willing to make up payment plans for those in financial distress. Maybe find a local Planned Parenthood and find their prices? Good Luck, dear.

There aren't any physical signs that you're barren, other than never getting pregnant. You'd actually have to go into a doc for that. Your GYN should be able to tell you if you are or not. Or you can go to a fertility clinic. I'm not sure where any in Pennsyvania are though.

You should start by not wanting to get pregnant, just have sex everyday or every other day and don't think about getting pregnant, just have fun with your partner.
after sex-put a pillow under your butt or prop your feet up on the wall so your pelvis is tilted
eat healthy
back off caffiene
workout,even if its just a 30 minute walk a day,be active!!

infertility can run in the family and one of the first things the doctor asks you when you go to a fertility clinic is your family history regarding cases of infertility or other reproductive issues.
Also remove alcohol, caffeine and cigarettes from your life because they might influence your chances too. Stress is also a risk factor when it comes to infertility. However. infertility isn't terrible like you thought, we can treat it. Learn more here:

the ONLY way to be 100% sure you are not gonna get pregnant is to NOT have sex. that is the only 100% way, i swear.
