He will likely go in the 5th or 6th round possibly to a team like the Vikings or falcons. He may slide even further after the league made it perfectly clear they would no longer tolorate players who cant behave. Smith had some issues with behavior early in his OSU days...in fact he was nearly kicked off the team. At the combine he was called a "Fat Cat" (not in a flattering way...rather sarcastic in fact) by a top scout in front of a bunch of reporters and was not impressive in workouts or at pro day either. His stock has badly diminished and some teams have removed him from their draft boards completely (too many questions about his physical abilities and character for some teams). But I do love the people who still think he is 1st or 2nd round material.....clearly they have no understanding of the pro game but come saturday night the 27th of April when he is still sitting on the board maybe then they will get it!

Yeah, it really is common that proper and one college activity made a guy fall from potential proper 20 %. to perhaps first 6 ROUNDS %.... He did undesirable adversarial to Florida replaced right into a huge problem with Troy Smith. If he won't be able to compete adversarial to the Florida protection, NFL defenses would kill him. there is little question, Troy Smith has truly some potential if he can compensate for his proper like Drew Brees can. i imagine he's a practicable starter if McNair receives damage and doubtless after he retires. i imagine that for a fifth round...in basic terms about sixth round %., he replaced right into a scouse borrow at that factor for a decrease back up QB. He also did not workout consultation on the combine...that tells some thing about his artwork ethic in case you inquire from me. a guy that really needs to play contained in the NFL and coach everybody what he can do ought to take section. He did do some drills, yet that's in basic terms dumb, why no longer flow all out and attempt getting drafted quicker, make some funds and keep a touch appreciate.

ill actually give you an answer unlike some of the other posters. i believe that the eagles will draft troy smith either in the 3rd or 4th round. the reason being, donovan mcnabb is a great quarterback...when healthy. he is a little injury prone and they just let garcia go, so theyre going to need a backup QB and i think troy smtih will be it because it is likely that many teams pass up on him due to his lack of size and his poor performance against florida and he didnt have amazing or spectacular combine results.

I think he will be a definite Day 2 pick probably 4th or 5th round. My guess would be a team like the Browns or the Jaguars.

Hard to tell but he is taller than Vick and has a more accuracy than a lot QB's. He is going to be a steal for some team. The guy can play.
