I asked earlier what people think of female athletic swimmers. The men like them and women don't. Why?

Women who swin have a very special build that is uncommon in this era. Broad shoulders, being well built, and a tiny waste. Most women today would refer to them as 'fat' because of the almost arrow shaped physique.
Truthfully, its out of envy, and the fact that straight women to not comment on how pretty the other swimmers are.

That's complete BS. You're making a blanket statement based on your own small sample population. Women and men in general will either be fair or unfair toward their own sex. You could also say that men don't like male swimmers because they wear Speedos and that's "gay" (boy how many times have I heard that!?) but that's not a truth either. Usually any type of negative reaction to another body of the same sex is based on jealousy, envy or simple indifference that the person feels would be better masked by distaste. It has ntohign to do with being a swimmer or not being a swimmer, etc.
The adjectives "hot" and "beautiful" are completely subjective and at the discretion of the observer. Not everyone defines "beauty" by the same standards. This question is insulting to anyone who swims or is female. Not all guys like female swimmers and not all women hate them.
Expend your horizons and take a look around. A course or class in sociology and/or modern media would help you understand the phenomenons our cultrues and other cultures have created regarding "beauty" and "hotness".

thats not true, but it might sound gay it we said "oh yeah she looks hot and beautiful in that tight fitting suit" girls tell other girls that they are beautiful all the time!
