Yes. The 1st (base) coat of wax should be a high temperature wax, the 2nd should be a carnuba wax for a deep shine. Remember the roof on most cars can hit temperatures of over 125 degrees, and that will melt away most waxes.

You get the wax build up and it stays smoother longer. It's about the same as putting 2 coats of paint on a car. Good luck

No and if it's a newer model it has clear coat you don't need wax a light polish would be better.
