My red ear slider lives in a tank with my fish. hes been in there since he was a baby so the fish are like family and he doesn't bite them. He been in the tank all his life and doesn't walk on land. could this cause a problem for my turtle?

Yes, red-eared sliders need a dock and basking light, it helps their shell stay hard and healthy, also the water should be kept at 79-80 degrees. That's great it doesn't eat the fish. Wish mine were as docile.

As long as it has a good basking sites, and its other needs are taken care of, this should not be a big problem.
