Set it to show "all headers" in your email "Options".

If you do not have a password on your WLAN, you are leaving your network open, which means anyone can access it and use your internet. It is not illegal for someone to access your network in this way as you are making a public network by not encrypting or password protecting your network. As long as he does not try to access one of your PC's directly and install trojans or viruses, he is doing nothing wrong. If you were to try to access his PC directly, you would be the one doing something illegal. Even if he is illegally accessing your network, two wrongs do not make a right. Your best course of action is to just password protect your network, you can save this password on all your computers to automatically log in and then it will be the same to you as if you did not have a password. Yes, there are ways you could access his computer, although I do not perform illegal activities so I do not know exactly how you would do this. EDIT: I now understand why you want to leave it open, you may want to call the phone manufacturer to get help setting it up to connect to a router with a password, this should be possible. If this is still not possible, there should be a setting on your router to block one specific MAC address (or only allow certain ones), you should have a "DNS options" page in your routers setting somewhere. It should list all currently connected MAC Adresses, and you will be able to assign specific IP's to each MAC address and block any you do not want to have access. you should consult your user manual for the router, or Netgear's website. It might be listed under "DNS Filtering" or "MAC Filtering" also

The simple answer is:
When viewing your list of all messages, click on "Options" in the upper right. Then click on "Management / General Preferences". Then under "Messages" / "Headers", select the radio button "Show all headers on incoming messages". At the bottom, click "Save". Now go back to refresh your inbox list and open a message. You will see "Received: blahblah" on three lines. The lowest one is closest to thje "From: blahblah" line so that is the bingo. You can see the IP address of the SMTP server there. Usually, you don't see the IP address of the individual sending computer. You could contact the ISP who owns the SMTP server to file a complaint against one of their users. Find that from:
http://samspade.org/

But don't expect to pull the rug from under spammers this way. They use special mail client software that fakes the SMTP server ID so you will never catch them.
