Please help, don't know how to approach this problem, but I do know it works under the principle that chemical reactions involve a change in volume. I know that PdeltaV is work done by the system against the atmosphere... and the ideal gas law might fit in somewhere...

You've got 1.5 moles of gas (use pV = nRT) forming 1 mole of water (density 1.0g/cm3).
