Don't write off KY. Especially U of L (Louisville).

They have an excellent reputation in the medical field, and one of the top engineering schools in the country. Speed Engineering School. Excellent sports program in all sports. Cheaper cost of living, and a wonderful city.
4/21st we will have the start of the derby festival, and the biggest fireworks show in the US. Every year we have the derby festival, and if you've never been to the KY derby, you don't know what you're missing.

Don't tell anybody, or else everyone will want to come to school here and there will be traffic jams, and we might have to buy a street light or two. lol
