Do you make small talk or even introduce yourself?

Yes I do...I am just a friendly person. Always smiling....depends on the person. I met my best friend while I was out shopping. We were in the parking lot and just started talking to each other.

Mmm..I deff do, but I'm realizing it might be an American thing. I'm deff very congenial but I moved to the Netherlands and the Dutch are not always quick to make small talk with foreign strangers, they are very close nit and have a unique sense of humor as a whole, but it grows on ya. I'm actually learning to like it and I've learned just enough Dutch to get buy.
But other than that- I've met some of my best friends just off the street in small talk as well as some Amazing people. Today I met an older man who was telling me a story about how he once met Louis Armstrong 47 yrs ago when he was in the NAVY...i thought it was pretty neat and being a lex-local New Orleans resident...it made my day!

Am ashamed to admit I have become the kind of person that I used to hate I talk to everyone the gas station clerks know me by name the bank teller he thinks I'm crazy the list is endless but I do not introduce myself am not that interested in being friends with random people.

Sure I make small talk at the grocery store or whatever. If I'm out for a walk and pass someone i will say "hi how are you?"
I'm pretty much that fool that is always smiling at ppl. lol

I really do not talk to people when out in public if they are not a friend... but I have flirted with guys at places for about a minute, but I am just flirtacious.... But, I usually make friends with my friend's friends... but I must warm up to them and not meet them in a place that is full of people initially...

I always say hi and see where it goes from there. 9 times out of ten, I just get a strange look and the person leave. But that one time I did get a nice response I soon fell in love with her. We're getting married soon.

YUP, I live in new york, mostly everyone is a stranger, besides how else am i gonna meet crazy interesting, weird scary people if I dun put myself out there?

well only girls, I make small talk and then I introduce myself. I just dont approach guys that I dont know.

yeah, it;'s strange i can just talk to someone i meet in the mall or at a store, my friends always ask me how i can just start up a conversation with a complete stranger and get them to laugh or talk to me....
