don imus just got fired from cbs radio, although the rutgers woman basketball team did not even call for it. the only person who seemed to have wanted this is Sharpton, the companies and advertisers listened. im not saying what Imus said is ok, but Imus has done much more good over his years (helping children with cancer) than bad. so what gives?

As a black man i am appauled!! This is nothing more than shutting down the 1st amendment and the changing of the Constitution. Don Imus did not break one rule that the FCC level's on the airways. This is not going to be good for Black America!! The gangsta's, rappers, hip hopper's are still out there! BET is still out there. MTV is still out there! this censorship is going to benefit NO ONE! Firing someone who has been doing the same exact thing for 30 years is perposterous!! Just as Black America applauded the O.J. verdict they will applaud this. Lets see if CBS and MSNBC and NBC who own many radio stations and are invested in BET will now shut down the filth in Rap, Hip Hop, and Gangsta music. Believe this ITS COMING!
