Ain't it the Truth. Just goes to show you, some can get away with it and others can't..

Technically speaking...no.
They don't broadcast themselves over the airwaves. They don't apply for a "license" from the FCC to make songs..

In the general sense they are more disgusting than Imus for what he said.. However the artist are saying in about females. Imus ID-ed his target with an inaccurate statement which we were able to focus on.

Truth be told people listen to/watch those types of radio/TV/songs/programming because it appeals to something deep inside them. And as long as they do....sponsors/advertisers/producers will pay "Imus/fiddy C/snoops salary. Way back when I bought a cassette tape for one song ...but when I heard how vile it was towards women I threw the whole thing out.

Either you are part of the solution or the problem.

And once you start to point the finger....you know...three of the point back at you.

Imus's comments were directed at the team. Rap artists use the terms in general. So Imus is actually worse than the rappers.

The music industry is a whole lot bigger and more money-making that little Don Imus. He is a minuscule in comparison.

I'm not sure there is a specific FCC rule against saying mean, inconsiderate things.....but anyways......

Don Imus is a white man, and only black men are allowed to call black women "Ho's".

i dont agree with the rep artist lyrics, but thier stuff is considered a form of "art"..thats how everyone sees it since they are rapping.

You got it...hopefully CBS, MSNBC and all these advertisers will start holidng these guys accountable as much as they did Imus...but I wouldn't count on it.

why? i dont think racist remarks are made against white college students in rap. if you dont relate to it and dont like it just dont listen to it. I dont hear black people complaining about heavy metal music. They could easily say the same thing and that it causes kids to have school shootings and become violent

I wish they would be, but as long as People like Al Sharpton keeps describing rap as a way to express youself it won't happen
