If girls were meant to have armpit hair?

Why does it disgust everyone ? Who likes it?Why?

My husband, who was born in Europe, has seen women with hair throughout his childhood and thinks of it as normal and sexy.
I don't like having a lot of hair on my body, because it itches, so I do shave sometimes, but his liking my natural hair sure keeps the pressure off of having to shave more often.

A few years ago, I was reaching up to get something at a store and a guy commented, rather loudly, how obscene it is that SOME women don't shave.
I replied, just as loud, "You're just jealous that I have more hair under my arms than you do over your BALD SPOT."
His lady friend laughed her way over to the next aisle.
