I2 N is about as low as you can go for clarity and color. I've seen some I2 diamonds with more coal chunks inside than diamond, outside.

The 0.25 ct -- I wouldn't pay over $100 for it . You can actually go to WalMart jewlery counter and get the same thing for the same price PLUS the ring that it's mounted in. As for the 1.75 ct. somewhere between $1000 and $2000. If you can get $2000 you're fortunate.

cut, clarity, carat, color.....................all these things are very important in figuring out price value. If the diamond is 1 diamond, it is worth more than if it is a bunch of little diamonds making up that amount of weight. It sounds as though you are talking about 2 diamonds. One white, one black. If you are talking about a white diamond with black in it, it is not a good thing. If you are talking about 25ctw in earrings, it means that with both earrings together (not just one), the weight is one quarter of one carat. It depends where you buy your jewelry, as well. There is no way to tell how much monetary value you are talking about with this description...............sorry.

Confusing info. Are there only 2 stones total..one black and one white? Or several stones making up the 2ct? I2 is low quality..run of the mill stones. Your best bet is to take it to a jeweler who can see it and tell you for sure.

Several small stones that make up 1ctw are far less valuable than one single 1ctw stone.
