i've been wearing this silver chain with a small diamond pendant for years. and the last two mornings i have woken up to find a small knot in the chain just above the pendant. does this have any mystical significance?

That seems peculiar--i doubt that you could tie a knot in your chain in your sleep, and it's equally hard for me to figure out how it could be just happening on its own.
Mystical significance? I can't answer, because this is definitely a new one for me!

sometimes old necklaces or chains are said to have some sort of mystic old powers. it is said that if you tie one of most prized possessions in a knot, when you are in need the most, luck will fall upon you if you untie it.
