Your just as bad as the junior high and high school kids. Your work has it blocked for a reason. I suggest you follow the rules, any attempts to bypass it could result in you losing your job.

I advise you not to go on MySpace. Work has blocked it for a reason. If you want to risk it, go ahead.

You can use a site that is proxy based to work around that. www.myspaceok.com is an example. So is cgproxy.

goof off appropraitely only when appropriate at work, like at break or lunch time...

yes, you could get fired if the company has a strict use policy, you had to sign... but most employers allow some personal internet use... but, if you employer watches as close as some of these responses seem to indicate.. do you even want to work there? I sure would'nt...

You are blocked at work because you're being paid to WORK. I's be embarrassed as all heck if my boss had to block me just to keep me off of myspace. I have a hard time believing anyone old enough to have a job would be using MySpace.

If I hire you at a certain rate of pay, I expect you to give me 8 hours of actual value. If you accept my job offer, you are basically agreeing that the wage is fair. If you use any part of that 8 hours for personal reasons, I have grounds to fire you, and I will, because you are costing me money.

What ever happened to the so-called work ethic in America? Do these punks all think they're entitled to fool around on company time?

I know you guys see proxy sites on here all the time, but this one has one main advantage - the ability to watch youtube videos. It also serves as another option to surf any other site that may be blocked by your school, work, or even country. I was totally surprised when I checked it out. Figured I'd at least pass it on.

If my college dared to censor me with the aid of blockading out myspace in simple terms as a results of fact of predator rumors, then i could ought to by twist of destiny, in simple terms in line with threat, spill a glass of water into each and every of their computers. those predator rumors are getting used as an person "warm button" subject to divert interest from unlawful government interest, youngsters are actually not dumb. Water those suckers is what i could think of roughly. course that's in simple terms hypothetical thinking as my college does no longer dare and that i do no longer recommend such issues.
