If there is a dinosaur-modern bird link, and if we have a gentic link with birds, then are we related to the dinos too?

According to macroevolution, all living things are related. It is just a matter of how closely we are related. How long ago did our ancestors part ways? Did dinosaurs have an ancestor in common with our ancient ancestors? I think so.

No. There was an actual primitive human to which we share relation. Dinosaurs according to history went extinct which means their line of evolution was ended.

All life is related. So, yeah we're related, albeit extremely distantly, to dinosaurs.
