Why is power rangers in space and time force part of the S.P.D squads?

You know how the "A" squad in s.p.d had the power ranger in space helmets? Then Sky's dad was a time force ranger and he was in s.p.d. because one episode it showed him in his red ranger time force outfit and it had s.p.d on the front. I was like WHAT???

The show was just reusing the costume and props, it doesn't mean the two are related. However some fan fiction writers, have worked it in to make the two related. I wrote a story a while back on ff.net.

As far as I know of - they aren't. They were just reusing the costumes and helmets.
