Fighting Iraq don't make you more powerful...
Iraq was defenseless and the US blew in there as if they were saving the world.... Well there was another leader that thought and worked the same way not that long ago.
What does Hitler and Bush have in common...
Hitler won power through a democratic process... Bush stole one that way. they just called it democracy on paper
Hitler started changing laws to give himself more power.... and so did Bush
Hitler started a war with many countries... Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran North Korea... wait that's bush's list...
Hitler filled his country men with fear and paranoia... there gonna get us if we don't get them first... we need protection... sounds relatively familiar don't it America!!!...
Hitler started taking freedom away from his people. I guess it was OK his people didn't seem to think it was important at the time. Just like Americans today.. What's in that Patriot act Homeland Security any way?
Hitler limited movements of the Germans
Bush is making it harder to cross boarders
Then there's the Berlin wall.... Hitler's master piece.
Walls going up in the south rumors of walls to be built to the north.... someones gotta question it.... don't they?
People who forget history are doomed to repeat it... so get off your pedestals....

You can all thank the Socipath and Liar of a President by the name of George Walker Bush as well as Vice President Dickless Cheney, Karl Rove and the rest of his criminal
Administration for their greed and selfishess for Oil Companies and Corporate America. You better believe that the United States will eventually become a puppet of China as they will dictate when the United States will jump or sit like an obedient dog.
Ruth you must be a Neocon and just don't get it. Keep your democracy in the United States as Bush and Company are not God to the world. The world will be a much better place when the self serving Americans like Bush and Company realize just because the United States is a superpower doesn't mean you force your beliefs on others. The same as the Roman Empire fell so will the American Empire fall except one hell of a lot harder.

I've never quite bought the 'sole super-power' thing. What about China, then? It was a super-power before the fall of the Soviet Union, and it didn't exactly 'fall,' itself, in fact, it's been doing pretty well of late.
Remaining in Iraq would keep a strong, if problematic, American influence in a strategically critical area of the globe - something of a prerequisite to claiming 'super-power' status.
Withdraw from Iraq might well lead to the complete collapse of American influence in that area, and could be looked back upon by historians as the moment when America ceased to be a super-power.
Of course, being a super-power really doesn't mean much except that the whole world (your own populace included) hates you and blames you for everything.

In South Korea we have stayed for a while and we have bases in Japan and Germany. That all happened before Bush lost his mind and went into Iraq for years. This occupation may develop into a stabilizing influence. The thing is most of us Americans are fickle and apathetic. The cause was not ours like it was in Afghanistan when the citizens believed we could punish Bin Lad din. I do not think we will be paper tigers but I think like most of us, we do not have a dog in the fight so why stay? We are staying because we have created a vacuum and we need to be an influence to stability in the region. Just like Korea.

I certainly don't think of the US as a super power. I think of it as a super terrorist. Bush is committing many sins and they will not go unanswered. He is dragging your country down. I know not of one person who has a high opinion of America. I for one am disgusted over this war. A war which he created and which will be his and your countries demise. Kick him out and bring justice to Iraq it is the only saving grace the US has.

the U. S. will shelter that's place by fact the main worldwide great means as long as we proceed to spend an substantial proportion of our national funds on protection. the frequently used hurdle the chinese language face is technological innovation. Their totalitarian government discourages unfastened theory and discovering which in turn discourages technological progression. the frequently used way the chinese language get new technologies is by stealing it or paying for it. on the different hand, the U. S. protection tension is often on the cutting fringe of technologies by fact the prospect of extensive protection contracts is an excellent motivation to create and develop new technologies. as long by fact the U. S. has a unfastened marketplace financial equipment and a society that encourages unfastened theory and instruction, the chinese language - and a superb form of alternative countries - will continuously lag in the back of. One section the place the chinese language do ought to means to over take the U. S. is in economics. China has a very almost limitless furnish of inexpensive hard artwork which means they are going to continuously have the means to offer issues lots greater much less high priced than in the U. S. and different western countries. If we proceed to take under consideration so heavily on imports from China, we supply the chinese language the prospect to harm us by our financial equipment. The balancing factor is that China needs to sell to the U. S. as much as we ought to purchase from China. yet another section the place China can no longer quickly injury the U. S. financial equipment is thru that's intake of oil. in actuality, an excellent element of the reason of top oil costs is as a results of the better call for from rising financial powers like China. At this element i do no longer understand if China has the means to strategically administration/effect the oil marketplace, yet their call for is unquestionably having an effect on the U. S..

No;
From the looks of it we are not a super power now, China has set back and let us buy most of our goods, and loan us money to stay afloat in Bushes God awful war, so they are the super power now and in the future they will dictate policy to us.
