Liberals don't care about Imus. He is just a stepping stone to go after Talk Radio.
It's all a scam.

different than the undeniable fact that C BS needs to take somewhat warmth off yet another scandal of their very very own..PLAGIARISM at CBS ..they are enjoying into the unfairness liberal time table , feeding into white racism and advertising hatred ..and hypocrisy . CBS fired a producer for plagiarizing a Wall St. magazine article of Jeffrey Zaslow's .. in spite of the undeniable fact that it enables to fireside Imus too , by fact then perchance their record of springing up up the information returned ( are you able to declare 2004 Presidential Election ) could be lined up with the Imus tale .

No it hasn't gone far enough. Sharpton and Jackson need to go after the rappers and hip hoppers for their derogatory comments towards women, gays and other races. It's just as bad as Imus. Imus got exactly what he deserved. Why do we pay people to represent the lowest of the low in our culture. Why is it entertaining to you to cut other people down despite their high acheivements? Does it make you feel better about yourself? This is pathetic entertainment. Why do you support such low life scum like Imus and Rap music? This isn't about free speech. This is about hate speech and paying people outrageous amounts of money to cater to the lowest common denominator in our culture. When should it be o.k to spread hatred as entertainment? It's sickening. It's not even a liberal or conservative issue. It's about respect and it's about elevating what is good in our culture rather than cutting it down all the time. It's time we held the television and radio talking heads to a higher standard. It's also time that we hold rappers and hip hoppers to higher standards as well. this isn't about double standards, this is about carrying it through.

I don't know about all the liberal business you're talking about, but I think that no one should feel free to spew pathetic, ignorant comments around. He's old, he has retirement money, Imus will be fine. However, if he was black and said something about whites, I don't know if the media would be on him so hard. That isn't fair, I'll give you that. But I have no pity for old, miserable Imus.

This is a business decision. If someone representing your company calls young, intelligent, black college women prostitutes in a public forum, you should expect some grief. Most companies have regulations about racial and sexual innuendos on work time. Imus certainly uttered both and got is butt fired.
It would happen in 80% of companies in the USA.
If you don't believe me, stand up at your annual company Christmas party and refer to the black women in the audience in the same manner as Imus.
See you in the unemployment line!

Can we fire all the rappers now who say the same exact phrases but a million times worse? Cummon they'r basicly saying that the law only applies to white people and black people can't be prosecuted under these laws?
EDIT: @ DROOPY
"Imus is a Republican bud, he going on the same list as O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh. Heckuva job neocons. "
Actually he is more liberal than he is republican, by far. He back Kerry in the 04` elections. Why do you spread such hate?
