I recently bought the Doctor Zhivago DVD and I noticed a photo of a scene in the back of the DVD box and it's a really cute scene, Yuri and Lara are in the wild and they are layed down... but! it does not appear in the movie at any time!! Is this right? Or is this a deleted scene? (either way, there's no deleted scenes in the DVD extras!) Hope someone can help

I know the still you're referring to without checking out the url, and , no, it's not a deleted scene, and yes it is a promotional photo (and a very good one, too!)--I saw Zhivago in its first run, and on subsequent video releases, and there's no corresponding scene, although the photo is set in the makeshift field hospital location where Yuri and Lara meet again. It does reflect the passion of the two characters very nicely, so I'm always glad to see it.

Just a promo for the movie back when it was released. just a tease to get people to watch the movie..... hoping for steamier scenes.
