First look at the prime factors for each number:

125 = 5 x 5 x 5
320 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 5

Then you take the largest number of occurrences of each prime number and multiply it out. In this case there are six twos and three fives, so 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 5 x 5 x 5 = 8000. Eight thousand is the least common multiple of 125 and 320.
