Its getting old and the contestance dont seem to have the umph it used to.
What would you do to make it more exciting???

I would do a season with only the contestants that were voted off allowed to try out. This way the people who had faves that didn't win before would watch to see if they get a second chance. kinda like an "All-Star" version

I don't know what I'd do to make it more exciting, but here's what I would change. I would do exactly what they do on Dancing with the Stars: The judges score would count half of the contestant's total score, and the other half by viewer's votes. And limit the number of votes you get. That cuts out the controversy and the best singer wins American Idol for sure.

Change the voting procedure...let the judges have more a say in who stays and goes (like Dancing with the Stars). Limit the number of votes per phone/household.

Well, I like the show but I think there should be a way to monitor how many times people vote...people should be allowed one vote and that's it. Everyone goes vote-crazy, especially the vote for the worst folks!

I think that the judges should pick who is out and all that stuff, even though there is not much people left, because if hte people vote, they just vote for the stupid ppl.
