No, actually. If the question grabs my attention and I believe that I can give a good, informative answer then I will write like 100 paragraphs just so the the person gets a good response from me. I dont answer pointless questions that don;t need a good explanation. But, for example a lot of people have already answered to this question, but I feel that I can give my opinion also.

A lot of answers to an interesting question will at least make me reconsider answering. The tipping point for me is that when I read some of the answers if I find one very similar to my response then I will forego the question all together.
I also admit that I do like being one of the first 5 or so on the list.

I check some of the answers. If what I was going to say was already said five or six times, I won't answer it just for the poor guy who has to read all of them to pick best answer. Also depends on how many answers I have left to answer that day.

I honestly don't care about these points until I get to the unlimited zone and then my grades will begin to drop. I pass up questions I can't answer though and I pass up homework assignments or questions with too many directions.

Depends on the question and if it's really worth answering or not. If there are lots of answers, I like reading through them, laughing at the funny ones, and rating them.

I usually answer anyway and hope that the person who submitted it reads all their answers. I like to try and get on the first page at least!

I skip any question that has a second page of answers. I think most people won't read beyond a page of answers.
