Hello all I have never experience this and I am a little curious, I started my cycle 4/7 and ended 4/10 whcih is right, it last 3 to 4 days on a 28 cycle, this month it came 6 days earlier and today I am spotting, with slight cramps what could be the problem.

It might not be a problem at all. Periods can change do to stress, a change in eating habits, increased exercise, and mood/hormones. Also they can be affected by other girls you are around ( female bodies admit pheromones that can cause your cycle to sync up with theirs. It also causes both you and your lover's sexual impulses to increase before your period.)
The most important thing you can do is begin to keep track of the changes and bring them up at your next regular appointment, unless the pain becomes extreme, or if you want to go just to be safe, But they'll probably just tell you the same thing, and charge ya a bunch.

There are many things that cause menstrual irregularities, but I'm guessing it's just a hormonal imbalance or could be caused by a change in your normal routine, such as being on vacation or anticipating something exciting, like a party or celebration. If the irregularity continues for more than two cycles, I would check with the gyno. In the absence of pregnancy and if you are in good health otherwise, it's nothing to worry about.

Go to the doctor or if the cramping gets worse try the hospital can be ovarian cyst.
I had completed my cycle and days later I was spotting after that I had cramps like someone was stabbing me from the inside out. I ignored it and it got worse, I finally went to the er and had an ultrasound done I have cysts on my ovaries. On a bright note it could just be stress and your cycle changing. Good luck.

you have various things that need to be addressed to answer this question properly. Like age, are u on birth control, if yes did u miss any pills from the end of your last cycle to this one, and so forth. The best advice is not to worry about it this time but if it becomes a more frequent thing see your family health care provider or local heath dept family planning nurse.

*Have you had any recent changes in your life? Stress, diet change things like that. They can effect your period and make t come ealier, later, or even stop.
*Have you recently started taking any kind of pill? The first few months on a new pill can effect your period.
*Have you just moved in with another female? Believe it or not, pheromones secreted by females who live closely can make their periods start at the same time.
If you don't think it's one of the above, it might be wise to see a doctor.

Could be from ovulation, even if you haven't had this symptom before. Could also be from an extreme amount of stress that you might be under. If everything is going well in your life right now, I'd just give your gynecologist a quick call to inquire about it. Just for peace of mind. :-)

If you are pregnant the spotting is called: Implantation bleeding and usually comes earlier then your montly due and lost about a day or two. Wait another week and buy a pregnancy test.
