I am Realtor and let me tell you something, I do it full time so I pretty much know my stuff but I deal with a ton TON! of idiot Realtors. There are way to many Realtors who do this once in a while and they really don't know what they are doing. Those are the worst. Don't use a Realtor when it is there par time job cause chances are they don't know anything they just want to collect a fat check. Find one with experience, interview them and just know incompetence is in every profession unfortunately. Go to your realtors broker if stuff gets out of hand.

you do no longer want a realtor yet they comprehend all the place of work work and have the connections to make each and every thing circulate smoother. surely, do no longer purchase a house from a buddy with no intermediary. there are the form of fantastic form of issues that may circulate incorrect and you dont desire to lose a buddy over funds or possessions. A realtor can help, if by no incorrect way than by being a scapegoat whilst something is going incorrect. solid luck.

Been through that...very typical...We actually slept on the floor for 2 weeks before we moved out! Realtor kept telling us tomorrow..tomorrow..so took the beds apart then told us they didn't have the funding. Still better than Help U sell...that was a nightmare..but that had a lot to do with my ex. My advice is to just roll with the punches...aggravating as it is...well worth it when it is over! Good Luck

My realtor was sort of good. He did a good job of selling my house and getting even more than the asking price. Then he totally flaked out on selling another property! It's like he gave up! When I decide to sell that property again I'm using someone else.

I've used a lot of women, and I don't always ask their occupations, so I guess a few of them might have been realtors...
Seriously, any decent Realtor (as a matter of form, they insist on capitalizing it) wouldn't screw up the relatively basic stuff you're describing. Unless you are so far along in the process that you can't afford to switch, you should kick this idiot to the curb.

I have. I have never had any problems. But then again I used the same Realtor to purchase and sell my home ten years later. She really knows her stuff.
When I originally met her the first thing out of her mouth was, "If you feel that I am not doing my job to the best of my abilities, you have the right to fire and sue me."
She has balls!
She got me my house for $65,000 and sold it fo $216,000.

I've had dealings with only one realtor whom I thought was any good. The others seemed to be no more than poorly trained monkeys, the better of them being thieves to boot.

REALTORS ARE LIKE MECHANICS, MOST OF WILL EITHER BE RETARTED OR TRY TO SCREW YOU BUT WHEN YOU FIND A GOOD ONE IT IS WELL WORTH IT,
MY MOTHER IS MY REALTOR SO I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS AND SHE'S A VERY GOOD ONE AS SHE DOES IT AS MORE OF A HOBBY THAN A CAREER,
BUT FROM BEING AROUND THAT I GET THE IDEA THAT MOST SUCK AND ARE CHEATS SO THE MAIN THING IS JUST FINDING ONE YOU TRUST
