Shore Excursions on Alaskan cruises----?

Question

Going on an Alaskan cruise in end of July-early August. Can anyone suggest some good shore excursions?? Or bad experiences?? First hand experience with the different excursions? Thank you!

I've never been on a cruise before but my grandma has but I think that they stayed on the boat. As for short excursions I would suggest checking to see if you all might be able to visit some of the stores such as to buy a gift. Also check with your travel agent that helped you book the cruise to see what suggestions they may have. Have a good time.
