Really great question.
My first concert was october of 1989.
On the bill was "In Living Colour" (They were the
opening act, Which we missed)
Gun's "N" Roses (With Axle, Izzy, Slash).
The Rolling Stones

It is hard for me to grasp That Gun's "N" Roses
would go from hard rock renegades to a band
that would do a cover of Live and Let Die. Butchering
the Mcartney classic in the process. Gun's "N" Roses
developed the angst and pathos sound that would
conceive Nirvana and Greenday.

It sounds so cliched now, Gun's "N" Roses had
so a unique and pulse adrenalin sound. Mayhem
and being on the edge was their motto, not words
to a song. Slash's guitar intro to "Sweet Child of Mine"
was so inventive, so natural. I saw them being together
for more classical abulms and tours. It was not to be.
Gun's "N" Roses became about one member and not
five.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band
at the Boston Garden (Though, it may have been the Fleet Center at the time)

About 10 years ago, and still the best concert I've ever been to.
