obviously they are not being taught that a comment is just crude move on; in college are you not taught to be able to face controversy in the world; when they get off the court into the real world , look out and now it destroyed my life , give me a break ; didn't you learn about the first amendment at Rutgers??? they could have said ; we are already champions and now we accept his apology as further demonstration; case closed and then you didn't erode the fiber of the Constitution of the United States; this is publicity stunt for the self promotion of the Reverends?? and the students; snap out of it ; sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me; kindergarten 101

on 60 minutes the different day they replayed an interview from ten years in the past. The interviewer claimed that imus instructed imus' producer (at the same time as in the vehicle) something concerning n igger jokes. in spite of the indisputable fact that Imus denied that he said the N word. Then the interviewer ask the producer. the producer spoke back with, "sure i'm very effective you said the N word." Then imus spoke back with "nicely i must have said the N word, yet that became an off the record verbal substitute" Racism is an argument of the middle. you may say sorry all you want, in spite of the indisputable fact that it doesn't substitute the very reality he's a racist. the picture of Cheater can practice remorseful about, yet in the adventure that they cheater on says sorry because they were stuck, nicely, i'd somewhat worried.

bah, he's a crazy old coot who needs a haircut. and unlike some posters here, i've certainly never seen him as liberal. and i didn't recognize who he was either when my young friends told me the story initially, had to look him up, and oh, THAT guy. around here he's on tv at 5am, called "imus in the morning," a good reason to turn the tv off, in my mind. on the other hand i doubt any under 50 would have ever known about this if not for sharpton. what's he doing listening to imus' brand of wind?

I believe it because they are intelligent and can change the buttons on their tv set or radios if they do not like it. These gals got alittle help from the kind Rev and now 15 mins fame and exposure they don't need. They have homework and other important things to do with their lives. The good Reverend loves a photo op and exploiting a bad situation into a out of control freefall.

Don Imus is a radio host for senior citizens and old hippies. No one with a real job or grasp on reality knows or even cares who he is. The only reason why he is in trouble and getting canned by NBC is because he is white and Al Sharpton and the likes of him will not rest until each and every white man woman and child kiss his fat ***. Shouldn't take too long. Looks like to me he can fit 100 million sets of lips on his gluteous maximus!!(thats *** cheek if you're asking)

That's no surprise. He is ranked 14th in number of listeners. And it's good to hear that college students don't waste their time with "talk radio". Heck....I have never listen to him either.

Being called a whore is not over-reacting.

A shock-jock is there at the desecration of his audience....when they don't like what he says/does....he's fired.

Good-bye Imus.

That's because they were all to busy listening to Fitty Cen' and Too Short glorifying gutter culture and misogyny!
