I normally don't have a problem with anger. It takes something pretty serious to infuriate me. When that happens I express verbally everything I feel and I leave no stone unturned. Then I do a lot of praying and meditating,in order to get perspective of the situation. That normally calms me down pretty well. Sometimes taking a walk helps too.

Taking my anger out on myself is the only thing i do...blaming myself for letting myself get into the situation in the first place. If someone makes me angry..then it makes me feel better, because I comfort myself by just staying away from people that cause me grief!

Best way to cope with anger is to understand that your ego or pain body, needs to have pain and drama to survive. Be watchful, observe when the pain body or ego tries to get attention, dont supress it, but acknowledge it, and understand it. Know that you become, and act on, the pain that your pain body or ego finds. It grows with more attention. Once you watch and observe the ego, you will realize that your pain is not you and therefore you cannot be angry any longer.

Well unfortunately I end up taking it out on whoever is near me cause they wont listen to the fact that I said I would like to be left alone, other times I lock myself in my room , with no lights , I like it dark, put on some music depending what mood I'm in, heart break, mad, sad etc..., and just stay there for hrs and let everything out

Music or solitude, usually helps me. I might need a few moments to myself to calm down and get over the anger.

If possible I will walk away from the person that makes me angry. If it is someone close to me I will probably become very quite. If is someone not close to me I will choose to not be around that person. in the future, If it is a stranger I try not to get angry because it hurts me more than the person that made me mad.

I usually go for a drive and listen to loud music. I have been known to wig-out on minimum wage workers at the drive thru...I mean how hard can it be to deliver a burger to a mad woman.....I can make it impossible.

I rant & rave until I burn it out. The dog hides, but hubby just waits silently til I'm done. He's such a good man!
