what types of calls do you get mostly? if a lot of personal you can do the old cliche song in the background and you saying call back. but if youre doing a lot of interviews or you get professional calls, then leaving the simple "you have called" message would be more appropriate.

short and to the point, people know what the beep is for.

you could set up something cute, but you will not think about your voicemail message when you are applying for a job.
what would you want your tentative employer to hear?
