How long does the Chorionic Gonadotropin shot last in your system?

I am just wondering...because I feel that the Chorionic Gonadotropin is the cause of my positive pregnancy test. I recieved a shot of 10,000 units exactly 14 days ago. I have been researching and spoke to my Pharmacist. He said that I am safe because usually the shot stays in my system 10 days. So the posibility of me being pregnant is good. What do you guys think?

10 days is always what I have heard is the normal time. If I were you I would try to wait til 18 dpo and then test again, if pos. and no bleeding call your OB or RE for a blood test. Good luck and baby dust!!!
