The Way You Look Tonight....from the movie Swing Time. We used Tony Bennett's version as our wedding song, and it melts us every time!

Some day, when I'm awfully low,
When the world is cold,
I will feel a glow
Just thinking of you...
And the way you look tonight.

Oh, but you're lovely
With your smile so warm
And your cheeks so soft,
There is nothing for me
But to love you,
And the way you look tonight.

With each word your tenderness grows,
Tearing my fear apart...
And that laugh that wrinkles your nose,
It touches my foolish heart.

Lovely ... Never, never change.
Keep that breathless charm.
Won't you please arrange it?
'Cause I love you ...
Just the way you look tonight.

Just the way you look to-night.

'Crush' - Dave Matthews wrote it for his wife, Ashley.

Artist: Dave Matthews Band
Album: Before These Crowded Streets
Title: Crush

Crazy how it feels tonight
Crazy how you make it all alright love
You crush me with the things you do
I do for you anything too
Sitting, smoking, feeling high
In this moment it feels so right
Lovely lady
I am at your feet
God I want you so badly
I wonder this
Could tomorrow be
So wondrous as you there sleeping
Let's go drive 'til morning comes
Watch the sunrise
To fill our souls up
Drink some wine 'til we get drunk
It's crazy I'm thinking
Just knowing that the world is round
Here I'm dancing on the ground
Am I right side up or upside down
Is this real or am I dreaming
Lovely lady
Let me drink you please
I won't spill a drop, I promise you
Lying under this spell you cast on me
Each moment
The more I love you
Crush me
Come on
It's crazy I'm thinking
Just knowing that the world is round
Here I'm dancing on the ground
Am I right side up or upside down
Is it real or am I dreaming
Lovely lady I will treat you sweetly
Adore you
I mean
You crush me
It's times like these
When my faith I feel
And I know
How I love you
Come on
Lady
It's crazy I'm thinking
Just as long as you're around
And here I'll be dancing on the ground
Am I right side up or upside down
To each other we'll be facing
By love we'll beat back the pain
we've found
You know
I mean to tell you all the things I've been thinking deep inside
My friend
With each moment the more I love you
Crush me
Come on
Lady
So much you have given love
That I would give you back
Again and again
Meaning I'll hold you
And please
Let me always

Many say it is Layla by Eric Clapton I tend to agree but there are some really good ones out there. My daughter claims it is Honey by Bobby Goldsborough. Both are really good but I know that Layla was written for a specific person who Mr. Clapton subsequently married. If you listen to the lyrics you will understand why she married him.

What'll you do when you get lonely
No one waiting by your side?
You've been running and hiding much too long.
You know it's just your foolish pride.

Layla, you've got me on my knees.
Layla, i'm begging, darling please.
Layla, darling won't you ease my worried mind.

I tried to give you consolation
When your old man had let you down.
Like a fool, i fell in love with you,
Turned my whole world upside down.

Chorus

Let's make the best of the situation
Before i finally go insane.
Please don't say we'll never find a way
And tell me all my love's in vain.

Chorus

Chorus

there are so many great romantic songs. there is the one that billy joel just released in febuary for his wife there's uptown girl about him and his ex-wife (but she was his wife at the time), there's fire to the third bar which someone already said and that one is written by snow patrol, till kingdom comes by coldplay, then i think you are all that i have is pretty romatic which is by snow patrol, and then there is shut your eyes and open your eyes by snow patrol. if you can't tell a lot of snow patrols music is cute and romantic.

Can I mix sexy with romantic because that is romance to me.
Toby Keith's "You Leave Me Weak" turns me into a limp noodle. (Can women be limp noodles?) Anyway, that works for me. Someone in my brain keeps saying Some Enchanted Evening but I don't think it's me. (how creepy) But for the oldies I keep playing "Once Upon a Time" by Tony Bennett and it makes me cry the 5th time around!!
